To Report Domestic Elder/Vulnerable Abuse, Call:
Abuse of vulnerable adults should be reported to the APS hotline at: (202) 541-3950. If the report is a domestic violence situation, rather than a vulnerable adult who cannot protect herself/himself, assistance can be obtained at the Domestic Violence Unit of the U.S. Attorney's Office: (202) 353-8022 or the caller can call one of the two Domestic Violence hotlines: My Sister's Place: (202) 529-5991 or The House of Ruth: (202) 347-2777.

To Report Institutional Abuse, Call:
Abuse in institutional settings can be reported either to the Adult Protective Services Hotline at 202-541-3950 or to the DC Long Term Care Ombudsman at 202-434-2140.
